The USC Warriors can now say goodbye to hopes of signing the 6'3" Hawai'i-based forward Rene Jun Saycon. This as his former coach at ACSAT Dumaguete Lightnings Michael Villahermosa confirmed that the high-flying swingman has given his verbal commitment to play for the UV Green Lancers in the 9th CeSAFI basketball season. The Warriors have followed developments on Saycon since November 2007 but was aware UV and Southwestern University was also interested in getting his services.
