2-time CeSAFI basketball Most Valuable Player awardee Enrico John "Bogs" Llanto topped the University of San Carlos Warriors in rebounding for CeSAFI basketball 2008. Despite playing only 5 games due to a recurring slip disc injury, Llanto collared 39 rebounds or an average of 7.8 caroms a game to finish 4th overall in the rebounding leaderboard for CeSAFI basketball 2008. Fellow Warrior Joven Cid Cortes also finished 5th on the rebounding ladder with 68 rebounds in 10 games(6.8 rebounds per game). 2 other Warriors finished in the top 20 in the rebounds list: Fil-Australian rookie sensation John Emel Rowe garnered 51 rebounds in 10 games(5.1 rebounds per game) to finish 14th overall and feisty point guard Paul Norman Joven finished 17th overall with 49 rebounds in 10 games(4.9 rebounds per game). Forward Sam Jordan Hermosa narrowly missed on a top 20 rebounding spot as he finished 21st with 43 rebounds(4.3 rebounds per game).
Llanto also led the Warriors in offensive rebounds and was 2nd overall in the defensive rebounds leaderboard for CeSAFI basketball 2008. He had 35 defensive rebounds in 5 games(7 defensive rebounds per outing). 3 Warriors finished in the top 10 in the defensive rebounds leaderboard of CeSAFI basketball 2008: Joven Cid Cortes(7th, 4.0 defensive rebounds per game), John Emel Rowe(8th, 3.9 defensive rebounds per game) and Paul Norman Joven(10th, 3.7 defensive rebounds per game).
On the offensive rebounding end, lanky center Joven Cid Cortes led the Warriors with 2.8 offensive recoveries a game while offensive machines Sam Jordan Hermosa and Giovanni Padillo each had 1.6 offensive rebounds an outing to finished tied for 16th overall in the offensive rebounding leaderboard for CeSAFI basketball 2008.
